new favorites in nyc

Here are some new spots added to my NYC Guide. Its so hard to pick favorites in this city, but these shops are worth revisiting. Lately, I've been following Racked and Man Repeller to spot noteworthy stores and restaurants.

dimes

When you want to eat a little healthy and feel some California vibes, head to this joint! The lavendar acai bowl is a big hit along with their salads. Plus, the pink countertops are a perfect backdrop for your next instagram foodie post.

calliope

Nestled in the West Village, you will find a modern boutique store by the combined efforts of entrepreneurs Michael and Caroline Ventura. The shop is designed like an open-door living room where you can find contemporary and mid-century items from near and far. My favorites were the delicate handmade ceramics and eccentric light fixtures.

outdoor voices

I was over the moon when OV opened a pop-up shop in NYC. Born out of Austin, TX by Parson's grad Tyler Haney, this athleisure-wear company is refreshingly minimalist without being boring. To top if off, their branding is on point and resonates well with the crowd who also loves Glossier and Reformation (yes, me). Since I wasn't quick enough to grab an OV x MR kit, I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for the much anticipated APCOV collaboration this fall!

baggu

Why, oh why did I not know that Baggu had an in-store retail shop in my neighborhood. I'm addicted to their soft leather pouches for storing travel toiletries and make-up. The reusable totes are also perfect for groceries and weekend trips upstate.
